The welcoming Star Inn is housed in a traditional country house, located in the quiet village of Watery Lane near the town of Wantage at the foot of the Berkshire Downs at the southern border of Oxfordshire. This location is an ideal starting point for discovering the Thames Valley in the south region of Oxfordshire, visiting the nearby market towns and the city of Oxford. The inn’s 17th-century historic building has been sympathetically renovated, although it still maintains its old-world charm and period characteristics. In the same time the Star Inn provides all contemporary comforts. The cosy restaurant offers culinary delights from the traditional and modern English cuisines. The on-site bar is the right place to drink some real ale in comfortable and friendly ambience. The Star Inn has 8 en-suite double, twin and family rooms.
