Saxon Tower of St Michael at the North Gate is the oldest building still standing from the eleventh century and is an amazing showcase of Saxon architecture.

The Botanic gardens are the oldest gardens in Oxford, featuring 7,000 different types of plants. There are three sections to tour: the glasshouses - containing plants that cannot survive the weather, the walled garden - plants are arranged in a variety of different ways - and outside the walled garden -contains a water and rock garden as well as the black and autumn borders.

Carfax Tower - Visitors with the stamina to climb the tower’s 99 steps will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of Oxfords's "dreaming spires" at The University Church of St Mary the Virgin.

Martyrs' Memorial - an impressive stone monument remembering the three Oxford Martyrs tried for heresy in 1555 and later burnt at the state for their religious beliefs and teachings.

Hetford Bridge - also known as “the bridge of sighs” because it supposedly resembles the bridge of sighs in Venice. Hetford bridge links the old and new quadrangles at Hertford College.

The Museum of the History of Science building combined with it's vast collection of scientific instruments of history puts it in a unique position regarding the history of science and within the western culture and collecting development.

Modern Art Oxford - true to it's namesake, the modern Art Oxford offers visitors a vast collection of modern and contemporary art exhibitions as well as community and education programs.

Magdalen College - offers some of the most visually stunning buildings in Oxford and is nestled among a hundred acres of woodlands. It has walks along the riverside and lawns and has 57 different species of birds. The school offers over fifty tutorial fellows as well as professors and is known for excellence in teaching.

Trinity College - is a small college, ideal for students who feel overwhelmed by the larger universities. It boasts some of the most beautiful buildings and gardens in Oxford and offers students degree courses that are also available by the University of Oxford.

Balliol College - is considered Oxford's most popular college based on the number of applicants. The school is known for excellence in academics and has a history of producing students with left-wing tendencies. Three prime ministers are graduates of the school, which also boast five Nobel Laureates and three kings as alumni.
