Loch Ness and Fort Augustus are only 2 miles from Auchterawe Country House, where you'll find shops, pubs and restaurants. The Caledonian Canal with its 5 lock staircase is a central part of Fort Augustus, where guests can watch the leisure boats and ships travel through from the canal into Loch Ness itself.
